Strengthening Dads begins Tuesday, September 23, and meets monthly on one Tuesday each month at 6:30 pm, September to April. The cost for the class is $25 (scholarships available). Strengthening Dads is a place for men who are in the midst of raising children. Men who like all of us, realize that marriage and parenting is hard… especially when you desire to do it well. You will experience men that you can build friendships with who are in your season of life, and be encouraged with practical and Scripture-based equipping and mentoring. Dads with children of all ages are welcome!

There are two options being offered:
- Monthly Gathering and Mentoring. When you register for this, you will attend our monthly gathering that will feature a catered dinner, time to connect and meet other men, a practical talk focused on helping you intentionally grow as a husband and father, and then we’ll wrap up with some Q/A. You will also be placed in a group with other men who are your age and stage who desire to meet with a mentor once a month outside of our monthly gathering. This will be a group of 3-4 designed to help you wrestle with how to apply these things more in your life, as well as a place for you to get encouragement in the places where you feel like you’re failing and/or really struggling. Once assigned, your group will choose a day and time that works best for you to meet monthly outside of our Tuesday night gathering. Please note: Mentor group spots fill fast, and we unfortunately have limited spots. These will be placed on a first-come, first- served basis due to limited mentors and a desire to keep these groups smaller.
- Monthly Gathering Only. When you register for this, you will be registered for our monthly gathering alone. We will not assign you to a mentor group. The monthly gathering will remain open all year; however, you do have to register to join because of meal and resource prep. Once you register, you are set for the 2025-26 year.

Common Questions
- Do I need to be a dad to attend Strengthening Dads? This program is designed for men who are currently raising children.
- Do I need to be a member or attend Catalina Foothills Church to enroll? Nope! Whether you attend a different church or don’t attend a church at all, you are welcome and encouraged to come and join us!
- We are pregnant with our first child, and/or we are married and want to start a family soon. Can I attend to start thinking about these topics? Absolutely. We think taking time to prepare and wrestle with these topics is very helpful in preparing for fatherhood.
- Can I invite other friends to join or invite friends after the class has started? Absolutely! We encourage you to invite men to join this journey with you! Our monthly gathering will remain open all year for men to register and join us. However, our mentor groups are limited due to the availability of mentors. Once those spots are filled, we can no longer place people in mentor groups.
- Will you be offering childcare? At this time, we do not know. We plan to poll men at our September gathering to see if there is truly a need.
