Primetimers

Hi, I'm Karen Hocker, coordinator for the group called Primetimers.  Our group is for anyone over 50 who wants to have fun, fellowship and get better acquainted with others who attend Catalina Foothills Church.  We are married, widowed, single or divorced men and women. We welcome snowbirds too. What better way to feel a part of your church and get to know us?  There are no dues or obligations.  We invite you to attend any or all events.  We schedule a different event each month except during the summer.  Some activities are local and others involve traveling and are a bit more expensive.  Annual events include our Cinco de Mayo potluck with a mariachi band in May and a BBQ in October with live music. Other things we have done include a Mystery Trip (no one except me knows where we are going) which has proved to be a fun activity;  a trip to San Antonio to see the Christmas lights; the Gaslight Theater; an evening hay ride through Winterhaven; a train trip to the Grand Canyon; a cruise down the Mexican Riviera; to Flagstaff to visit our sister church, and many more. We have even been known to go shopping in Phoenix.   Sometimes we charter a bus, other times we carpool. As you can see, we are an active group with many different interests. We always try to include things that fit everyone's physical ability and pocketbook. Come join us, get better acquainted and have fun!
