3. Why should we worship God? a.) because everyone is already worshipping either creator or creation; and b.) Our hearts will only find rest in God, whereas non of our idols can help us.
4. How to worship
i.) community: All the plural pronouns! We’re made to worship God together. Private worship is a prelude and preparation for public worship.
ii.) truth: What the prophets revealed about who God is…. Also, what is God’s final revelation? See Hebrews 1
iii.) Enter His presence by His Spirit: Come into His presence (v.2)
iv.) Gospel sabbath rest as pointed to in Psalm 95:11 and Hebrews 3 & 4
