Dress a Girl Around the World
Dress a Girl Around the World is a ministry of Hope4Women International sewing simple dresses for young girls in need. During the last three yearly events, CFC Women have sewn and donated dresses to Honduras, Mexico, Vietnam and the Dominican Republic.
You can change a little girl’s destiny by giving her a new dress. Village pastors have told us that a new dress gives a girl an appearance of being cared for and may discourage would-be predators. We sew our Hope4Women label on the outside of each dress sending the message that this girl is under the care of an organization. Thus, giving her added protection from those who would harm her.

Stitches from the Heart- Prayer Shawl
Do you like to knit or crochet? The Stitches from the Heart (Prayer Shawl Ministry) needs you to make shawls for men, women and children. The shawls are knit with love and prayers from the heart for the recipient. We provide the yarn. You provide your knitting needles or crochet hook and the time to create a beautiful soft shawl that will be greatly appreciated by one who needs comfort, love, hope, strength and peace. It is our prayer that our shawls will lift those who are hurting or who just need to know that someone cares about them.
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon in the Fireside Room from September through May. Attendance is not required but we encourage you to enjoy our fellowship as you knit or crochet your project. Contact Judy Deppe at (520)297-4858.
Tucson Refugee Ministry
Building a bridge between the church and the nations at our doorstep. Less than 10% of refugees who come to the US will be befriended by an American, let alone a follower of Jesus. There are new refugee families arriving in Tucson every week that need help navigating in this new country. Contact Essie at email@example.com for further information.
